Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 26, 2026
Introduction
Navique ("we," "our," or "us") is a native macOS application published by Nerd Snipe Inc. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our desktop application and visit our website at www.navique.app.
Our Core Privacy Principle
We do not collect, store, transmit, or have access to your personal data, API keys, access tokens, or any data from third-party services you connect to through Navique.
Navique is a locally-installed macOS application. All connections, credentials, and data from integrated services remain entirely on your device. Nothing passes through our servers and nothing is stored on our infrastructure.
Third-Party Service Integrations
Navique allows you to connect to third-party services including, but not limited to:
- Google Workspace (via OAuth and Service Accounts)
- GitHub (via OAuth and Personal Access Tokens)
- Bitbucket (via OAuth)
- Linear, Slack, Supabase, Sentry, PostHog, Stripe
- AI model providers (via API keys)
- MCP servers and other developer tools
When you connect these services:
- All API keys, OAuth tokens, service account credentials, and refresh tokens are stored locally on your Mac — in the macOS Keychain or in application-local storage.
- We have no record of your connections, credentials, or keys.
- Data retrieved from these services (repositories, issues, messages, analytics, etc.) is processed and displayed locally within the app and is never transmitted to us.
- We cannot see, access, or recover any data from your connected services.
Google API Services Disclosure
Navique's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically:
- We do not store Google user data on our servers. OAuth tokens and any data retrieved from Google APIs remain on your local device.
- We do not use Google user data for advertising or marketing purposes.
- We do not sell, lease, or share Google user data with third parties.
- We do not use Google user data for any purpose other than providing the features you request within the Navique application.
- Google Workspace data (Calendar events, Gmail, Drive files, etc.) is fetched directly from Google's APIs to your local machine. It is never routed through or stored on our infrastructure.
OAuth Token Exchange
For certain OAuth flows (such as Google and GitHub sign-in), Navique uses a server-side endpoint to exchange authorization codes for access tokens. This is a standard OAuth requirement — the exchange must happen server-side to protect client secrets.
During this exchange:
- The authorization code and resulting tokens pass through our server transiently as part of the OAuth handshake.
- We do not log, store, or retain any tokens or authorization codes.
- Tokens are immediately returned to the Navique desktop app and stored locally on your device.
Local Data Storage
All application data — including tasks, projects, settings, agent configurations, chat history, and cached API responses — is stored in a local SQLite database on your Mac. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to sync or export it.
Website
When you visit our marketing website at www.navique.app, standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) may be collected by our hosting provider (Vercel) in accordance with their privacy policy. We do not use third-party analytics or tracking scripts on our website.
Payments
If you purchase a Navique license, payment processing is handled entirely by our payment processor. We do not store your credit card number or full payment details. We may receive limited information (such as the last four digits of your card and billing email) for support and invoicing purposes.
Children's Privacy
Navique is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
